If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 000 or go to the nearest hospital emergency department. If calling feels hard, ask someone nearby to stay with you and call.

Send a mate a message that just says “thinking of you”.
Leave your number and a STILL HERE peer support officer will give you a call. A caring, culturally respectful yarn, grounded in lived experience.
Peer support is about being heard and exploring your next steps alongside someone with lived experience, including people connected to veterans and emergency services communities. It does not replace clinical care or emergency services.
Tell us how to reach you. A peer support officer will call you back as soon as they can. It's free, and it's for adults aged 18 and over.
Requesting a call back needs an internet connection.
Request a call back online ↗Callbacks aren't instant. If you need to talk now, call 13YARN on 13 92 76 (24/7) or Lifeline on 13 11 14. In an emergency, call 000.
STILL HERE is a mental health awareness and lifestyle brand growing from a simple belief: people deserve care, connection and a place to begin.
STILL HERE was created by Steve Smulders, a proud Aboriginal Yuin Nation man and former emergency services worker who lives with PTSD. His hope is to help start conversations with your mates and make space for a yarn with your mob.
This companion is one small step in that vision. It offers gentle check-ins, grounding ideas and links to established support services while the STILL HERE peer support service is being developed.
We want care to feel human, welcoming and connected to community.
Keep moving forward. Start with the next breath, the next yarn, the next small step.

This first version does not ask for an account, send your mood anywhere or save your check-in. The activities run in your browser. Installing the app may save its pages for offline use on your device, but your check-ins and reflections are not saved. If you choose to add to your gratitude jar, those words are kept only in your own browser and can be emptied at any time. The app does not provide counselling, diagnosis or emergency monitoring.
